Illegal Immigration Has Nothing To Do With Race

Let's talk about racism, in particular who the so-called race card is used to stifle free and open discussion of important issues and cover up a plethora of problems.

Speak out and demand that all immigrants use the legally established processes to gain entry to the United States and you will be branded a "racist" since most illegal immigrants are Hispanic. Never mind that there are serious security problems that affect all Americans, regardless of race, brought on by illegal immigration.

Security consists of much more than guarding against terrorist sneaking across the border in the dead of the night. Blocking the introduction of diseases into our country is a security issue. Stopping the flow of illegal drugs is a security issue. Halting the traffic in human flesh is a security issue. But none of these serious issues matter to those who defend illegal immigration. Lacking any logical reason to support their position, they resort to labeling the rest of us as "racists".

Just because the majority of illegal immigrants are Hispanic does not make this a racial issue. Millions of Hispanics have come to America using legal avenues. Isn't it high time that we ignore the name calling and demand a frank and honest discussion of the problems we all face due to the unfettered flow of illegal immigrants of any race or nationality?.

Is it too much to ask that immigrants walk proudly through the front door instead of sneaking though the basement window like a thief in the night?

Calling a traitor a traitor

Former Vice President Al Gore is clearing showing that he is either losing his already tenuous grasp on reality or that he is a traitor. Speaking in Saudi Arabia recently, at an event in part funded by the Bin Laden family, the bitter loser of the 2000 Presidential race :

claimed that the US government has committed "terrible abuses" against Arabs after the Sept. 11, 2001

Arabs had been "indiscriminately rounded up" and held in "unforgivable" conditions

"The thoughtless way in which visas are now handled, that is a mistake,"

Obviously, the first two are lies and designed to flame hatred of the US government amongst Saudis. As for the visas, 15 of the 19 murderers responsible for the 9/11 attacks came into this country using Saudi visas.

Gore is entitled to his opinion and is free to speak his mind. But for a former Vice President of this country to make such statements on foreign soil is unforgivable, especially during a time of war. It is the action of one who has lost their mind, who is pandering for Arab money, is a traitor or any combination of the former.

It is long past time for this loser to shut up and go away.

An equal opportunity idiot

Showing that he is capable of making an ass of himself anywhere, former VP Gore made news in the Philippines this time for his factually inaccurate statements about global warming and his "analysis of local environmental conditions" which were way off of the mark.

Isn't it time that former VPs and Presidents quit embarrassing the rest of us with their statements made on foreign soil? Gore, Carter and Clinton have all done their best to discredit the US in the eyes of the rest of the world. Is it because they are petty, bitter losers or could it be for what they most desire in life: a return to power?

Isn't it ironic?

Islam has generally been thought of as a religion of peace, or so we are led to believe. Yet, Muslims have resorted to death and destruction to protest the publication of what some consider to be offensive cartoons. Not all Muslims, mind you. American Muslims have not found it necessary to burn, pillage and kill.

It is ironic that so followers of what is supposed to be a religion of peace find it necessary to resort to violence to express their unhappiness. It is truly sad that the actions of a small group of radicals are what forms the basis of how the rest of the world looks upon their religion.

No government or military force will ever completely eliminate the violence of the radicals. Only when he rest of the Muslim world rises up against the radicals in their midst will we see an end to the violence.

Circus Time

Anyone who watched the so-called Memorial service for Coretta Scott King surely noticed that rather than being a celebration of her life, the leftists in attendance managed to turn it into a political circus. Rather than speak of her life, or of the path that she walked and struggles that she faced, former President Carter set the tone by launching into personal attacks on President Bush. Others, all liberals (aka leftists, progressives, Democrats), followed suit. Instead of the focus being on Mrs. King, the proceedings became a political freak show featuring one liberal after another attacking Bush and striving for face time in front of the cameras. Any mention of Mrs. King was only as an afterthought.

Folks here in Minnesota probably are not surprised that this solemn occasion was usurped by the political slime. We saw this first hand at what was supposed to be a memorial for Paul Wellstone.

This was nothing more than a collection of pathetic losers so desperate to regain power over the American people that they are willing to use any event at any time to try and further their goals. They can not even put aside their obsession with power long enough to attend a memorial service for a fine woman. Simply pathetic.

Isn't it time for losers like Carter to shut up, go away and leave the rest of us alone? We don't need you to preach to us, especially when you do not practice what you preach. We do not need you to care for us or tell us how to live our lives. You are an embarrassment to the rest of America.

We don't need you. Please go away.

Who Am I

I have been arrested several times for speeding and drunken driving.

A friend once described me as "the weak kitten in the litter, never able to measure up to his brothers".

I was kicked out of Harvard for cheating.

My 4 year Army enlistment was reduced to 2 years thinks to my family's influence peddling.

While driving drunk and with an expired drivers license, I directly caused the death of another person, a crime my family bought my way out of.

I have pushed for stiff inheritance tax while I live off of a family trust, based on the island of Fiji, that avoids the inheritance tax.

I attack "big oil" despite the fact that my family benefits tremendously from investments in "big oil".

I am considered a leader or the liberal left in America.

I am Teddy Kennedy.

Teachers Sexually Abusing Students UPDATE

Here are some more links to reports of teachers accused of sexual misconduct and abuse of their students - your kids.

Ottawa Canada

As the reports of teachers, the very folks who you trust to educate and protect your children, sexually abusing students, we can not help but wonder why liberals, (aka leftist, progressives, Democrats), and their minions in media are not up in arms demanding action and filing lawsuits in the same manner that occurs when a priest is caught doing the same things? We can't help but wonder if the true goal of the left is not to protect the children but rather to destroy the Christian

Figure this one out

It is well documented that in Muslim nations, women and girls are treated like second-class citizens, especially compared to the status of women in the western world. Can't drive. Can't vote. Have to wear cloths designed to hide them. Treated like property about same as the family donkey.

You would think that liberals (aka leftists, progressives, Democrats), would welcome any effort that improved the status of women in Muslim countries. You would be wrong.

What are the liberals concerned about: how much they hate Bush and protecting the court-given right to murder their unborn young. Like the true hypocrites they are, they shed phoney tears for those killed in Iraq while justifying the murder of unborn children with a woman's right to choose what to do with her body. To them, the rights of the woman, real or court-given, out trump the rights of the most vulnerable of us.

Makes about as much sense as having as a leader a Senator best known for drinking and murdering a young woman.

A dear friend of ours is a WW II vet. 91 years old, very recently widowed, a ton of health problems some dating back to wounds received in the line of duty and very little money. Just today he was told that there was nothing the Veterans Administration could, or would, do to help him. Nada. Zilch. Nothing.

Meanwhile, taxpayer funds are used to:

provide benefits for illegal criminal aliens

build superhighways to nowhere in Alaska

tout the virtues of homosexuality to public school students

better pay, benefits and retirement plans for Congress then most of us could ever hope to see

support a huge bureaucracy most of which works against those who pay for it

fund a massive welfare system that does nothing more than create an entire class of Americans dependent upon a government handout.

Anyone else find this a more than a little bit strange?

Where's the camera?

Now that Judge Alito has been voted in as a Supreme Court justice, we can't help but wonder what Teddy Kennedy and John "I served in Nam" Kerry are going to do and say to get some face time in front of the cameras? I am sure that even as we speak, their staff's are hard at work planning something so stupid that it is sure to get them on camera.
