Another Liberal Lie Uncovered

Despite statements from their own leaders over the past several years, Democrats continue to claim that there was no connection between Iraq and al-Qaida. Perhaps the leftist Democrats should remind the Associated Press what the offical party line is supposed to be after this slipped through in an AP report from Jordan:

The Arab Street Explodes

"Thousands of Jordanians rallied in the capital and other cities shouting 'Burn in hell, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi!' a day after three deadly hotel bombings that killed at least 59 people. Officials suspected Iraqi involvement in the attacks, which were claimed by al-Qaida's Iraq branch," the Associated Press reports:

As protesters in Jordan and elsewhere in the Arab world denounced the Jordanian-born leader of al-Qaida in Iraq, security forces snared a group of Iraqis for questioning and officials said one of the bombers spoke Iraqi-accented Arabic before he exploded his suicide belt in the Grand Hyatt Hotel.

The main demonstration in Amman lasted for more than an hour. But honking vehicles, decorated with Jordanian flags and posters of King Abdullah II, cruised Amman's streets until late in the night, as passengers chanted "Death to al-Zarqawi, the villain and the traitor!" and anti-terrorism slogans.

We seriously doubt if the rest of the talking heads in the news entertainment business will pick up on this point; however, if it were President Bush making the same claim, the attacks would be coming fast and furious.

We are not defenders of Bush, nor do we support his big government policies, wasteful spending or total disregard for the defense of our sovereign borders. But we do believe in America and what we are and what we stand for. We also believe that the ceaseless, mindless attacks on Bush do far more harm to our country than they do to Bush himself. Every moment spent in front of news crews calling Bush a liar, or a moron or claiming that the people were deceived is a moment that could be spent actually working on the real problems facing this wonderful country. In other words, doing what they are paid to do.

It is our contention that the attacks on Bush amount to nothing more than political game playing on the grandest scale. Rather than admit that they have no viable solutions to any problems, the liberals mask their ignorance and stupidity with attacks on the President.

The saddest part of all of this is that so many of our citizens are showing the same intellectual laziness that characterizes liberals. They refuse to question and accept any lie that they are fed. Look good little sheep, they marching into the barn to be shorn of their freedom, liberty and paychecks. Lacking a true faith in God, these hopeless ones put their faith in government and media and forget that what ever is given to you by man, can be taken away by man.
