Do You Trust The Government?
The question today is whether or not you trust the federal government? Perhaps more importantly, is there any reason that you should trust the federal government?
The federal government was created to fill very specific purposes: protect our borders, people and interests, to deal with foreign governments so as to protect American interests, to assure interstate commerce and to insure that the Constitution is the law of the land. How are they doing with protecting our borders? Absolute failure is the only grade possible as 20,000,000 illegal immigrants already here are joined by thousands more each and every day. And even as this is being written, members of Congress are meeting in secret to craft an amnesty bill despite overwhelming public opinion aginst amnesty
We, or more precisely the federal government has not got a clue as to who is actually in this country or what they might have brought with them. For all the feds know Bin Laden could be hiding in NYC and the idiots in DC would never know.
How about protecting the Constitution? Well Christians can not pray in school but our taxes are used to build prayer rooms for Muslims. The 10 Commandments, part of the foundation of this nation is being removed from government buildings one by one. The Patriot Acts, both 1 and 2, takes away personal liberties supposedly to aid in the fight against global terrorism. For all intents and purposes, the Constitution is being ripped to shreds by Congress and a court system that is more interested in making law than in enforcing existing law.
Are the members of the federal government worthy of your respect? A Congressman is taped soliciting and accepting bribes and a bunch of cash is found in his freezer. A President is found out to be having extramarital sex with a young intern in the Oval Office. The Speaker of the House talks about ethics while her son is a major lobbyist benefiting from his bloodlines. The examples go on and on and on. These are not people that are worthy of your trust.
Surely the feds must be doing a good job of making and maintaining treaties? Ask the Lakota, Apache, Cheyenne, Crow, Commanche and all other American Indian tribes how well the feds do at making and keeping treaties. Want a more modern example - NAFTA, the legal first step towards giving away American sovereign rights.
You might say that at least the federal government tells us the truth. That is easily refuted simply by reading the newspapers each day. Lies upon lies and then more lies to try and cover up the old lies.
Ask those that survived Wounded Knee, Ruby Ridge, Waco and the camps where Japanese American citizens were confined during WW2 if they trust the federal government.
Folks, it is time to wake up and take this monster down and replace it with a federal government as envisioned by the Founders. It is time to get off of our dead rearends and make our voices heard, to shout so loud that the DC elites must listen and respond.
This country does not belong to the government. It does not belong to foriegn visitors, to big businesses, to unions, to econuts or to any other self serving group. It belongs to all citizens of the United States. Isn't it about damned time we started taking care of what has been left to us?
