Even Garage Sales Aren't Safe from Big Brother

Just about the time a guy starts to think there isn't much more the massive and ever growing federal government can reach out and control, something new pops up. This time is new, strict guidelines being imposed upon thrift stores, product resellers and, of all things, the neighborhood garage sale. And to show that they mean business, the DC bureaucrats are wielding the threat of fines up to $15 MILLION. [Read more]

Of course, the government tells us that their intentions are good and the little guy has nothing to worry about but the new guidelines do not make a distinction between national resellers and home garage sales.

If this is what they meant by "change and hope", they can shove it.
